Theodore Francis Green Hall

The Theodore Francis (T.F.) Green Hall, which re-opened after renovation in September 2003, is a student-run center for the arts.

The T.F. Green Administrative Board and Production Workshop, Brown's completely student-run theatre, work collaboratively with the Student Activities Office to provide oversight of the facility. The hall is named after Theodore Francis Green, Class of 1887. Theodore Francis Green was the 57th governor of Rhode Island (1933-36) and served in the United States Senate (1937-61).

T. F. Green is located at 7 Young Orchard Avenue. It is card accessible to all Brown students. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the TF Green Student Coordinators at tfgreen@brown.edu.

Meeting and Function Rooms

Production Workshop schedules the use of the main performance venues: a larger black box theatre called the Downspace (room 101) and a smaller black box theatre (room 203) called the Upspace. Use of other rooms is reserved through the University Scheduling Office.

Other music and practice spaces and production spaces are available elsewhere on campus.
