The Brown ACLU, a chapter of the ACLU of Rhode Island, is open to all students, and there shall be no discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national or ethnic origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or caste. The ACLU calls attention to encroachments on civil liberties, holds events and publicizes recognition of civil rights on campus, and collaborates with the RI ACLU in doing so.
