The Brown University Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union of Rhode Island stages informational and advocacy campaigns on campus, state, and national civil liberties issues. The organization’s goal is to protect and preserve the civil liberties of all people. In past semesters the chapter has organized campaigns for incarcerated peoples’ rights, reproductive justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and more. Brown ACLU also produces several Know Your Rights infographics throughout the year.
