The purpose of the Black Consulting Initiative shall be to create a space on campus that introduces consulting to all Brown students including those from underrepresented backgrounds.. The Black Consulting Initiative helps develop students’ consulting skills from interviews to casework and general ways of thinking. The Black Consulting Initiative hopes to accomplish this primarily through hands-on consulting services with black-owned startups and individual ventures within the Northeast. The Black Consulting Initiative hopes to make a mark in the Providence community by providing consulting services to black-owned startups or individual ventures.
