Since 2009, Food Recovery Network has operated as Brown's chapter of the national FRN organization. We are dedicated to safely recovering leftover food from University dining halls and redistributing this food to community organizations based in Providence or greater RI. We also promote awareness of the issues of food insecurity, inequitable food systems, and environmental sustainability by collaborating with student organizations and our community partners on educational events on campus.
