The Brown Forecasting Club provides a space where students can hone their skills in prediction of future events. Members predict events from the election results, daily temperatures, pop culture events, etc. by looking at historical data, considering outside forces, and contextualizing it all using statistical models. Members develop critical analysis skills that are intellectually engaging and essential for careers at hedge funds, quant trading firms, think tanks, and many other industries.
