Nigerian Students Association

Organizations

Brown’s Nigerian Student Association (NSA) is an organization that is open to all students. Its roots are traced back to its creation in 2020 to provide a space for the vast population of the Black community here at Brown that Nigerians form, whether international or American-Nigerian. This year, the NSA put on the first-ever Edition of our ANNUAL OWAMBE Celebration. A celebration of life, an Owambe, in Nigerian culture, usually marks a milestone – a baby naming, wedding, 50th birthday, or even a funeral.
