We envision a world in which all incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people have access to high-quality academic programs. To achieve this, we recruit, train and coordinate undergraduate and graduate student volunteers to serve as academic tutors and teaching assistants for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people in RI and MA. We also strive to inspire our alumni—both former students and tutors—to advocate and take on leadership roles that will re-imagine the criminal legal system.
