The Brown Political Union strives to provide students with a multi-partisan forum for discourse and ideological engagement through formal debates, a speaker series, roundtable discussions, and events with political unions at other universities. They aim to actively encourage the expression and discussion of different political ideologies through a formal party structure. Each party determines its leadership and has agency in running its own informal events like weekly meals and debates.
