The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) supports all student engineers including women-identifying student engineers by organizing community-building activities, developing internship and professional development opportunities, forming mentoring relationships between students and other affinity groups, and more. Beyond Brown, SWE organizes and hosts outreach events to introduce K-12 students to different fields of engineering and partners with external companies for recruitment and information sessions. Our chapter is open to all engineering students, including undergraduate and graduate women in STEM, and connects with local educational and community organizations.
