The primary focus of BSR is the radio station, broadcast on FM radio and bsrlive.com. Other operations include new music listening, archiving, and in-person events. Brown was the first student-run radio station in America, a testament to the consistency of the radio over centuries. This year we trained new radio show hosts and maintained existing shows. We have upkept tech equipment and attended to necesssary repairs for the station. Our teams have hosted several social events, advertised on social media, and took inventory of our music library. Interest meetings for joining our radio station have consistently high attendance, with about 40 people attending last semester and 20 this semester. As mentioned, we have doubled the number of shows we host and increased participation in our team meetings. Our list serv grew by 50 members last semester and about 20 this semester. In the past two years we have experienced consistent growth in participation in our club, as well as suggestions to increase our presence on campus.
