Sustainable Business Scholars

Organizations

The Sustainable Business Society aims to foster the professional development of environmentally conscious leaders across various disciplines and industries. SBS offers a comprehensive curriculum that educates students on the foundations of sustainability, encompassing climate science, policy, and technology. Additionally, SBS provides career development workshops and speaker series to further enhance members' understanding and professional growth in the sustainability sector.

Within SBS, students are paired into interest groups based on their preferences, spanning from working on venture prizes, to community engagement, to pro bono consulting, to drafting newsletters, and, finally, social media outreach. These initiatives provide members with real-world experiences in sustainability, allowing them to apply their knowledge and skills in practical settings.

Eligibility to Sustainable Business Society is open to all full-time undergraduate members of the Brown community and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, national or ethnic origin, disability, status as a veteran, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or sex.
