Umeed at Brown makes an active effort to spread awareness of the burden of cancer in low to middle-income countries to Brown University community through the creation of informational multimedia. They also host a multitude of fundraising events throughout the year to support treatment and hospital costs for cancer patients through their NGO partners in India and West Africa. These events include Educational Speaker, Benefit Concert, Dance Workshop, Spring Carnival, Fun Run, and Day of Giving.
