Visual Art Appreciation holds weekly meetings, where we learn and discuss different art movements, artists, and styles. The group is open to all students from all levels of knowledge about art history. Our meetings are meant to be informal yet informative and engaging discussions about art. Alongside discussions about prominent art movements, we'll also hold immersive activities, such as testing the architectural claims of Vitruvius and examining the Canon of Polykleitos. Finally, we incorporate museum visits into our exploration of the art world on a monthly basis.
