The Black Star Journal’s purpose is to create a reliable source of Black news, life, existence, and culture where all Brown students are invited to create and learn about Black history on campus. The newspaper works to connect the vast collection of voices, including Black voices, on Brown’s campus to build a stronger and better-informed community. The Black Star welcomes students from all backgrounds to uplift the stories of the school’s Black community.
