Brown University Healthcare Interpreters seek to increase access to interpretation services in Rhode Island. They help multilingual Brown students get their interpretation certifications and they connect them with healthcare providers and patients to provide volunteer interpretation services. They also seek to increase awareness of the importance of cultural understanding in healthcare.
