The Iranian Graduate Students Association (IGSA) at Brown University is a non-partisan, volunteer-based student organization. The group focuses on promoting and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Persian-speaking countries through various cultural events. Notable celebrations include Nowruz (Persian New Year) and Yalda Night, accompanied by traditional Persian music, food, and customs. All members of the Brown community are welcome to join and learn about Persian traditions.
