The Brown University Merlions (BUM) is a group that welcomes all members of the Brown community, as well as students from neighbouring schools such as RISD and aims to celebrate Singapore’s culture and foster a community of those interested in Singaporean culture at Brown. BUM will host regular events every semester that are culturally important to Singaporeans that allow all students, including those based in Singapore to stay in touch with each other, and also for anyone who is interested in Singapore to learn more about Singaporean culture.
