The Brown Debating Union is Brown and RISD’s campus debate team; they are a no-cut team, meaning they accept students from all backgrounds and experience levels, yet they still compete around the globe in debating competitions and have consistently been one of the most successful teams in the country, with debaters finding national and international success. Seeing as they were established in 1824, they are also the second oldest active university debating organization in the US. Everyone is welcome!
