The Brown Outing Club (BOC) is a student-run club created with the primary goals of getting more students outside, helping them explore the outdoors in safe and meaningful ways, and creating lasting, inclusive communities around shared adventures such as hiking, backpacking, kayaking, skiing, and everything in between. BOC is committed to creating respectful and equitable opportunities for students of all identities, backgrounds, and experience levels, which includes our efforts to reach out to underrepresented groups and ensure the outdoors is a space for everyone. As a university club, the BOC is open and accessible to all students within the Brown community.
